I am a proficient classical guitarist. I am excellent at teaching new and beginning players fundamentals and technique for all styles of play, as well as more advanced classical technique up to intermediate players. I can also teach guitar musicianship and music reading to players of all levels. My philosophy on teaching guitar is that the student is the director of where the lessons will head. I am not the type of instructor to come in with a predetermined curriculum to force onto a student. That approach breeds frustration. I tailor the lessons specifically to the needs and goals of the STUDENT, not my own preferences. Don't want to learn to read music? Not a problem. Want to play a specific song? You got it.
