You will sound better, expand your repertoire, and gain much pleasure from your hard work on this amazing instrument! My teaching experience covers over 3 decades. I am of a direct teaching lineage to the legendary Clara Schumann. My students have won competitions. If you follow my micro-management and practice directions, you will succeed in your goals!! 15 min lessons offered only on-line. My Music awards include: Merit Scholarship Winner to Eastman School of Music, CoConcertmaster Spoleto Festival in Italy. Although I've guided my serious students to win competitions, music school scholarships, I enjoy the rewarding journey of guiding new talents as they embark on their musical exploration and witness their growth from the very first note to the stage. My background? I am a career musician, and multi-genre conservatory trained violin, viola, piano instructor with over 40 years teaching & concert performance experience. Eastman & Juilliard Schools of Music. I've concertized throughout Europe, China, & Egypt & been teaching online lessons for 17 years now. My serious students are winning competitions as well as scholarships to music schools. My resume spans many pages. Furthermore, I LOVE teaching! I am Merit Scholarship winner from Eastman School of Music where I double performance majored in Piano and Violin, now also serve on competition judging panels. With my instruction, you will learn quickly and most importantly, correctly, saving you time and resources as you reach your musical goals. Fact: One of the only activities that activates, stimulates, and uses the entire brain is music, so let the FUN begin! My instructions are detailed to insure your best progress. Studio Equipment For on-line lessons, you will need a quiet place, and please test your sound and video prior to lesson. For students under 13 or so, please have a parent or caregiver taking notes, for the first lessons, hopefully longer.

My first lesson was a real happy one, I was nervous and stressed about starting. Ms. Stephanie was very pleasant, explained things so I could comprehend it., she was strong in confidence yet happy in mild in teaching style. I’m very hopeful I will learn a lot from this brilliant teacher.

I am an adult beginner violinist. When I first met Stephanie, I had barely touched a violin, but I was determined to learn how to play it. With her help and patience, I am progressing through the Suzuki method as well as doing ear training and music theory. Stephanie is an excellent musician as well as instructor! Her method of teaching keeps the students engaged, encouraged and excited about learning music from all sides of it.
