Piano with Stephanie K.

Hi, I'm Stephanie and I am just starting out as a piano teacher for beginners. I'm currently available to teach lessons at your home or mine. I took private piano lessons from age 6 to 18 and received additional lessons in Jazz/Blues for another year. I am currently studying at Berklee. I enjoy teaching my friends and seeing them improve and I would love to teach more! Throughout my university education, I volunteered in teaching elementary school-aged children weekly and have become very comfortable working with children. My lesson plans will be personalized to each student and will focus on music theory. I believe a good foundation and understanding of music is the most important part of learning a new instrument. The better you understand the instrument, the more you will enjoy playing it! I will also make recordings for my students when they have mastered a song. I believe having something to show for your hard work encourages further learning and makes the process more exciting. You also get to show off your new skills to your parents or friends!
