Singing with Stacy M.

Music has been a part of my life since birth. My entire family is musical and includes some seasoned performers in country and gospel genres. I grew up singing southern gospel, country and bluegrass. I earned both a Bachelor and a Master of Arts degree in vocal/choral music from Campbellsville University, touring around the U.S. and Europe with various vocal ensembles. I have been giving private vocal instruction for the last 10 years. In college, I studied classical opera technique and Broadway style singing (my coach lived and worked professionally on Broadway for 10 years). I consider myself, first and foremost a technician, striving to firmly ground my students in proper vocal technique so they may obtain optimum quality from their individual vocal instrument, while also working to build and expand repertoire in the genre most beneficial to the student.
