Hi, From age 5 until today, music has been a lifelong pursuit. I've had ten years of classical piano lessons, sitar lessons in India, jazz studies at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and private bass lessons with Pete Cosey. I co-founded the bands Sojourner and Samana, with appearances at the Chicago Jazz Festival, the Woman's Jazz Festival, and the National Woman’s Music Festival. I've released several recordings and have played bass on many others. And, last summer, I had a great time teaching in the Music Camp at the Old Town School of Folk Music. I believe that, in music, there's always more to learn and more to share.
