Drums with Sean H.

Sean H. has been heavily involved with music since the age of 9 when he began playing drum set. Since then, he has picked up other percussion instruments as well as guitar and piano. He began his studies with Cincinnati local professional, Shawn Elsbernd, and has since studied with many great drum set players in town including Jason Smart, John Zappa, Scott Lang, and Dan Dorff. Sean obtained a bachelor’s degree in music at NKU as a Jazz Studies major under the direction of Brian “Boss” Hogg, Dan Dorff, Scott Lang, John Zappa, and Phil Burkhead. As an active, working musician in Cincinnati, Sean has performed at some of the top venues in town such as the Blue Wisp Jazz Club, Northside Tavern, Madison Theatre, and many others across the Midwest. He has been privileged to share the stage with many top players in and out of town such as Frequency, Sidewalk Soundtrack, Ignacio Berroa, Jeff Coffin, and Brad Goode. In addition to playing a lot of jazz, Sean leads the original fusion jam band, Don't Fear the Satellites.
