earned a bacheor's degree in Musical Theater with a minor in Acting
from The University of Northern Colorado. I now live in Bayonne, New
Jersey with my wife of nearly seven years, where I continue to work as

Music Theater voice, Rock singing, Pop / R&B Singing, Beginning to Intermediate Music Theory, Beginning Piano, Choral Singing. I really like to focus on supporting from the diaphragm and keeping a nice relaxed throat. My style is that of learning how to read the music, then working on the voice. I can teach how to sing rock without destroying your voice. The same goes for Pop / R&B.

Both Shannon and I really enjoy the lessons. I think Scott is wonderful with her he is patient and knows exactly how to speak to her to get to focus and enjoy the lesson. I highly recommand him to anyone.

Idealistic Voice Teacher
I have been working with Scott for roughly eight months now and I must say that I am truly pleased with him as a teacher. Scott exemplifies what being a great teacher is all about. He is professional without being robotic, he is encouraging without being untruthful, and most importantly, he is knowledgeable without being a know it all. There is nothing worse than a teacher who’d rather show off the entire lesson than teach; thankfully Scott is nothing like that. He is a very fun, energetic and uplifting teacher who, still after eight moths, leaves me waiting for my next lesson with fervor. Needless to say, I would recommend Scott to anyone looking for a great voice teacher.

A positive experience

Excellent teacher
Zachary is 3 years old, and just started piano lessons. Scott has been an extremely patient teacher who really took the time to try to make the experience enjoyable for him and was able to connect with him at his level. We highly recommend him.

Great Teacher

How To Sign Up
Review the TakeLessons teachers in your area. Find the teacher you like the best and either book online or call/email a TakeLessons Student Counselor to book your lessons. You will then choose a day and time that works best for you, select your lesson package and pay via credit or debit card to book your lessons.
After you have booked your lessons, your instructor will contact you within 1-2 days. This gives the instructor a chance to introduce him or herself, and make sure everything is set for your first lesson.
