Piano with Sarah L.

Sarah L. is a New York based pianist and organist. She is the current Director of Music at St. John’s Episcopal Church and runs a private piano studio. Ms. L. has a degree in music performance from Williams College and has studied with Germaine Tocatlian and Jean-Paul Imbert at the Schola Cantorum Conservatory in Paris. Through her participation in festivals and masterclasses, she has worked with Olivier Latry, Simone Dinnerstein, and other notable musicians. Sarah has extensive experience teaching and directing musicians of all ages and levels, and strives to help students and choirs reach their potential through consistent and detailed coaching. As Director of Music at St. John’s and as a freelance musician, she frequently plays and directs special services, recitals, weddings, and funerals; arranges music; contracts area musicians; and accompanies vocal or instrumental soloists.
