At the end of the Summer 2014, I will be a college sophomore pursuing a major in Business Management and a minor in Music. MUSIC: Ever since I was 4 years old (15 years now), I have been practicing, preforming, and practicing piano, violin, and music theory. Twice a week I have had the privilege of taking piano and violin lessons from skilled teachers who strive to provide me with the best guidance with music. I have been having a blast teaching piano, violin, and theory to students from ages 4-74 since 2009. Over the course of teaching, I have had around 30 students come and go. No matter what stage of life you are in, you can always benefit from learning music and surrounding yourself around music. THE ART OF COMMUNICATION WITH THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE: I am very passionate about the great art of writing and reading. I believe every student needs a strong foundation in the English language. What do communicating people on a casual level, writing very important letters, and giving opening speeches at Galas have in common? They all require a vast understanding of language. In high school I the president of our local speech and debate team, making it to nationals every year in the debate and speech events I competed in during the years. As a result, I have had ample opportunity to face public speaking in every day life and in a competition setting. I love everything about the English language and hope to pass what I have learned.
