Hi, there! My name is Sara and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2006 and have loved helping my students confidence, ease, and joy in singing and performing! I went to DePaul University and McGill University and earned both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Vocal Performance and Opera. I'm a fun and passionate person and my teaching style is engaging, collaborative, and holistic. I want to help you to shine in a way that only you can! I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

I've know Sara a long time. She is a joy of a person and a delightful singer. We actually met as kids at Interlochen Arts Camp when we were in middle school. Her passion for singing shined bright that summer. Our paths crossed again when we were at McGill University for our Masters of Music in Vocal Performance. There we had the chance to perform side by side in a number of projects that spanned opera, musical theater, straight theater, and baroque music. Everyday Sara brought a positive attitude and enthusiasm to all she did. I know she will be an awesome teacher for you because I have learned from Sara myself. Watching her perform Susana from the Marriage of Figaro was an absolute lesson in beautiful singing, truthful performance, and shockingly beautiful recitativo. 

Sara is a wonderfully fun person. She will always make sure that lessons are productive, and informative, but also fun! She is absolutely amazing at teaching kids of all ages (and kids at heart). I know Sara will be a great teacher for you.

Sara and I did our MMus in Vocal Performance together at McGill University in Montreal, QC.  Sara is an amazing colleague, always encouraging, down-to-earth, sincere, and smiling.  Her performances are always a pleasure - she has a stunning voice, solid technique, and is extremely versatile (musical theatre, pop, opera.... you name it!).  I highly recommend Sara's studio to any young singer who wants a well-rounded vocal training program.
