Lesson Details
As an instructor and musical mentor, my lessons are very laid back and personal. I develop relationships with all my students to better understand their learning style and personality. Within the first few lessons, you will learn the different parts of the violin and how to care for your instrument. I will show you correct posture and positioning necessary to hold and play your violin.
Within the first 3-6 months, we will begin working out of the Suzuki Violin books. Starting with book one
...
and moving forward from there. I also introduce reading within the first few months using Joanne Martin's 'I Can Read Music' books.
Everybody works and learns at their own pace. As an instructor, it's my job to instill inspiration and give you the necessary tools you need to develop your own musical outlet!
Currently residing in Music City, Sara D. has twelve years of playing experience under her belt. She has experience playing in an orchestra, early music ensembles and as a session player. Sara is a certified Suzuki Instructor who currently teaches in the Nashville area.
