About Ryan D.

“Ryan is a Cuban American native of Miami, FL who began to compose an arrange music at age 9. He was first influenced by European Orchestral Music (Beethoven, Debussy, Bartok, Schoenberg) and American Jazz. His earlier work consisted of hundreds of 4track tape and PC demos, and by age 15 he had recorded 10 albums (solo/group material) while also touring the country extensively. He earned a
degree with concentrations in Jazz/Orchestral Composition and Arrangement from
City College of New York in 2009, and is planning to pursue a M.M. in the same fields.
Ryan is also an established theorist of Music, and his 2007 work "Theory of
Spectral Education" sought out to help sensory handicapped children learn and perform song cycles. Since 2007, Ryan has been teaching students in Miami and New York of many different ages and abilities. Every one of his students comes away with a great knowledge of musicianship and music history itself while also surpassing goals of their own in whatever genre or style they prefer. As a solo artist he has recorded around 70 albums and has composed 225 concert pieces for orchestra and solo piano.” Toma Magazine (NYC 2011)
