I am a very organized individual who approaches teaching in a practically informative and mentally challenging way. This is done in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. My teaching includes the basics of piano and vocal production, starting with the study of the piano keyboard and/or the vocal mechanism. distributed. However, you will be required to purchase music lesson books and additional supplies upon request (music manuscript paper, metronome, etc.).
At the end of six months, the piano student should be able to: recognize various chords and their structure; identify chord types by ear; play major and minor scales and finger exercises; read basic musical compositions; play songs from music of interest.
At the end of six months, the vocal student should be able to: articulate the parts of the vocal mechanism; demonstrate and apply basic breathing technique; demonstrate and apply proper tone production, pitch, and diction; sing major and minor scales and vocal exercises; read basic musical compositions; sing songs from music of interest.
You will receive lesson assignments on a weekly basis, so your progress is dependent upon a consistent practice schedule!
