*** Studio Equipment *** Living Room: upright, couch and chair and table, parents can sit in on lesson *** Specialties *** I am classically trained in voice, piano, and organ. I always encourage a relaxed, tension-free practice and performance. In each lesson I pay particular attention to the student's technique in order to avoid unnecessary tension and pain. I am also a Director of Music and Organist at a church in downtown Durham. I am able to offer lessons at either my home, or at the church. I enjoy teaching young children who are just beginning, adults just beginning, or adults trying to pick up where they left off with lessons earlier in their life. I promote disciplined practice habits while also making lessons fun!
