Blues & improvisational guitar. Music therapy method of teaching primarily using children's songs. Multi-sensory approach with focus on tactile learning with visual and auditory cues.

Lesson Details

You or your child can expect to be reading music after 3 months, expect to be able to strum some basic guitar chords, and notice some positive improvements in playing and singing with guitar or piano within weeks. As a Music Therapist I realize the importance of a positive learning experience that is non-stressful. In other words Music is FUN ! I realize that all students learn at different rates but it is important to feel progress in our musical journey. I am a Board-Certified Music Therapist with over twenty years of Therapy and Teaching experience. I am a DePaul University Music graduate and studied Classical Guitar with Richard Pick. I enjoy working with beginning and challenging students and love singing and playing guitar.
