Every student learns differently and at different paces. I believe in finding short term and long term goals for students of all ages and customizing their education program to their needs and tastes. What do we want to achieve by Next Week? Next Month? work to achieve your goals, but why not enjoy the work on the way. All students learn Music Theory, and Music Reading, as well as the applications to apply those skills to their instruments. Proper right hand and left hand techniques, dexterity drills, strength exercises are all more fun to be incorporated while learning to play your favorite song. I am also a certified luthier, so care and proper maintenance of your instrument is also included in the lesson program. I am also certified to include lessons as part of an arts credit for PA home education (home school) programs.
I’ve been a teaching professionally since 2006 and am very excited to join the TakeLessons team! I believe that every student learns differently and tailor my teaching method to their learning needs. I have studied at Temple University as well as the Musicians Institute. Music has brought me joy in life and focus has brought me all around the world. I hope to help every student achieve his or her musical goals.
