Mr. Raymond S. recently retired from his position as the Director of Bands and Music Department Chairperson at the Western Wayne school District Mr. S. has over 32 years of music teaching experience and is now offering his expertise and experience through private lessons and ensemble experiences. As a music educator, Mr. S. has taught instrumental music from grades 4-12. He is an understanding, patient and inspirational teacher who is highly respected and loved by his students. He has the ability to get the best out of students by setting student based goals and teaching in a supportive and encouraging yet demanding style During his time as a High School Band Director, Ray has a long tradition of large numbers of students qualifying for District, Region and All-State Band. District Band tryouts, learning to play a new instrument, preparing for tests and concerts, relearning after a hiatus, Raymond S. is ready to help you achieve your goals.
