Looking for music lessons? Play a woodwind or brass instrument? My name is Rachel and I am a certified instrumental music teacher!  I am a recent college graduate, with a degree in Music Education, and am looking for new students! I currently teach 5th and 6th grade general music at an intermediate school in Fishers Indiana. My specialty is beginner to advanced Trombone, Baritone, and Tuba lessons but I can also teach beginner Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Oboe, Bassoon, Trumpet and French Horn lessons.  As a trombone player, I have performed in wind ensembles, orchestras, marching bands, and chamber ensembles.  I played the tuba in my college's marching band and concert band.  Even though low brass instruments are my specialty, I am quite proficient on all the woodwind and brass instruments.   *** Lesson Details *** I expect my students to practice and to come prepared for lessons. Our lessons will focus on the music the student wants to learn. For beginners, I like to focus on the basic techniques for playing which will help the student advance more quickly.  *** Travel Equipment *** I expect students to provide their own instrument and a method book of their choice. I would supply supplemental warm-up exercise and copies of extra music. *** Specialties *** Anything the student wants to learn! I specialize in classical and jazz, but am able to teach any style.
