Baritone, Phillip Harris recently made his Carnegie Hall debut in Stern Auditorium and has sung numerous roles in opera and musical theater productions, some of which include: Marcello (La Bohème), Marius ( Les Misérable), Cascada (The Merry Widow, Le fauteuil and L'arbre (L'enfant et les Sortilèges) and Fiorello ( Il barbiere di Sivglia) to name a few. Summer training programs include The International Lyric Academy in Rome and Viterbo, Opera in the Ozarks and The Hawai'i Performing Arts Festival. He has taught various courses in music at elementary and high schools in California and has held numerous church music positions. He holds a degrees from The University of California, Irvine and The University of Michigan. He is currently pursing a DMA in voice at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he is a graduate assistant.
