My experience as a musician began 25 years ago with piano lessons at the Haddonfield School of Performing Arts, and continued as I studied music production and engineering at Berklee College of Music. Now I teach others with lessons in instrument technique, music theory, and the recording arts. It's hard for me to overstate how much I love music, and I do my best to impart that feeling to my students. In fact, I think it's crucial that everyone have some level of music education, however small. Why? Music has an enormous impact on our lives, whether we realize it or not. From emotional movie scores to sound design in video games to applications in therapy, music is everywhere. It's as fascinating to study as it is beautiful to listen to. Every new student has the opportunity to learn and grow, and I truly look forward to guiding you along your journey! Note: I do not currently offer lessons to students living in Pennsylvania. My apologies for any inconvenience.

To say Phil is a well-rounded textbook example of artistic and education integrity is an understatement. I have known Phil for many years as a colleague and friend. As an educator I have found myself employing his teaching methods and I have seen very positive outcomes as a result. Without reservation, I would recommend his premier services to anyone

My instructor Mr. Phil is a very good teacher because he is patient during my lessons. He takes the time to make sure that I fully understand what he's teaching me.
