Hello! My name is Peter. When I was a toddler, I would sit on my dad's lap as he played piano, fascinated by the sound he created. I knew then that I wanted to become a musician. I began to study the guitar, bass, and drums relentlessly, recording my own little demos on an ADAT recorder. Since then, music has allowed me the chance to travel the US, both as a performer and a recording artist/engineer. I began teaching guitar just after graduating from the Evergreen State College in 2006. Since then, I have taught ever age imaginable and have even taught full classrooms of 20+ students. Now, here in beautiful Los Angeles, I am excited to meet new students and share in the discovery of music. I am new to TakeLessons, but I have a few quotes from the parents of past students...
