I teach Suzuki and classical method (Essential Elements for strings by M. Allen).
Through the Suzuki method young children master basic musical skills, improve listening ability, and acquire physical comfort with their instrument and with performing. Intermediate and advanced students learn to read music, improve technical proficiency, and play skill specific repertoire.

Lesson Details

My teaching methods are the Suzuki and the classical teaching method. The Suzuki method is based on learning the music by imitation of the teacher and later learning the music alphabet while the classical methods (such as the Essential Elements for Strings-M. Allen) emphasize parallel work on learning the notes and playing songs. I expect that after three months my students learn a basic technique of playing their instruments, to be able to read the notes, and play at descent level (which would ... correspond to the level of the Suzuki book 1 or the Essential Elements for Strings book 1-M. I am a laid back teacher and I try to be flexible in every aspect of my teaching. I try to make fun every lesson for a student. I give the students to play some familiar easy songs in order to improve their playing skills.
