I have been learning and teaching music for twenty-five years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I am always listening to and learning something new and different. I listen to all genres of music and I become a better musician everyday because of this. Listen! Listen! Listen! Play! Play! Play. I have come to find that "jazz definitely helps with my "rock chops!" I listen to these Musicians "just to name a few" and they all influence my style. I do add to my list often. Wes Montgomery, Michel Legrand, Sting, Marron 5, Chopin Jimmy Hendrix, Mozart, Beethoven, Michael Jackson, Mike Stern, Thelonious Monk, Burt Bachrach, Elton John Scotty Anderson, Billy Joel, Norman Brown Mark Whitfield John McLaughlin George Benson John Lee Hooker Neal Schon Stevie Ray Vaughn Al di Meola Stanley Jordan Steve Lukather Don Felder Andreas Segovia Slash Pavlo Carlos Santana Eddie Van Halen Eric Clapton
