I specialize within the styles of Rock, Pop, Metal, Blues, Punk Rock, Hard Rock, and Country. I am confident in both lead and rhythm styles. I use the Fretboard Logic method for my guitar lessons. It specializes in teaching theory as it pertains to the guitar player. In addition I also supplement my own concepts and ideas throughout the lessons. Lesson Details

Students can expect to learn how to develop their own voice on the guitar. Theory, technique, and songs, are just some of the things a student can expect to learn with our lessons. While my lessons are laid back and fun, I do like for students to be engaged, and to be ready to practice what we work on during the lessons. My lessons use both the Fretboard Logic books, and my own lesson tools that I've created that I'll supplement in when necessary. Each student will learn in the style that ... they like. My ultimate goal for each student is to be able to pick up a guitar and get what they want out of it!

For students interested in songwriting and performing, we will examine your favorite artists and their songs, and use creative assignments to help get you to the next level.

About

Guitar and music have been a passion of mine for over half of my life now. I love music, and sharing that with the students I teach. I feel that there is no better representation of personal expression through music than by playing the guitar. I bring a passion for playing, songwriting, and performing to my lessons. I can help you the student learn to develop your own skills in any or all of these areas.

I've been playing guitar for 13 and a half years. I've played professionally for ... years, and have been teaching for over 6 years now. I've had a couple years of private instruction, and studied theory in College. I have also studied privately for years, and continue to study as I always feel there is more to learn. I specialize in the styles of Metal, Shred, Rock, Hard Rock, Punk, Blues and Pop music. I can teach students on both electric and acoustic guitar. Also I teach both lead and rhythm styles.

I've been writing songs and performing since I started playing guitar. I have worked with several producers, and played shows with many national acts over the years. As a result I have gained a good working knowledge of songwriting and performing, both of which I can now share with students who have an interest in taking their musical experience to the next level. It's not just a blast for me to play the guitar, it's also awesome to be able to perform for crowds of people, and share the songs that I've written.
