I believe in a very relaxed, comfortable environment, where students feel they can express themselves.
About Me
I have taken private voice and piano lessons constantly since the age of 5, and have studied opera performance and music theory in college. I perform locally around the community as a singer, direct the church choir, and occassionally accompany soloists on the piano. I have taught private lessons in voice and piano for 5 years and i greatly enjoy the one on one experience of teaching private lessons.

My Specialties

Hi Nanette! I left a voice mail yesterday for you.. Regretting to inform you that we will no longer be doing lessons. We loved you as a teacher, and have nothing but good remarks for the take lessons brand. It is just seeming to not be a passion of hannahs right now. Thank you for your time and paitents for hannah.. We will for sure keep your info for future needs. Thanks again! take care :)

My 7 year-old son has been taking lessons with Nanette for ten weeks now and we could not be happier. Our experiences with 'Take Lessons' and this instructor have been A+ all around. In addition to being a very competent teacher, Nanette is patient, nurturing and professional. I can highly recommend the services of both 'Take Lessons' and Nanette G.

Wonderful improvement in self esteem from singing.
My granddaughter's parents were going through a divorce and she needed a boast to her self-esteem. Nanette's enthusiasm and friendly teaching style helped Adriana be chosen for several singing solos and auditions, and raised her self-esteem tremendously! Adriana has learned several techniques that have greatly improved her singing ability. Big "koodoos" to Nanette for her instructional style.

I sincerely am blessed to have Nanette as my instructor. I have learned so much in the few lessons I have had with her, than I did in six months with my previous instructor from somewhere else. She is very professional and has made me feel comfortable in spite of my lack of confidence. She is very positive and encouraging. She is very skilled and talented. Thank you so much for her!

Good with my 6 year old daughter.
I waited a year before I would leave feedback. I will admit my wife and I had our doubts about this woman.
She turned out to be an amazing blessing to our daughter. With Nanette's guidance, and incredible patience with a 5/6 year old. My daughter isn't playing Sonatas (yet) but her fundamentals are leaving me and her mother in awe. Nanette has given my daughter a love for
the piano and most importantly, music which what we wanted.
I forgot to mention my daughter gets frustrated very easily and is quick to tear up, in the last year I only remember 3 teary sessions, and they were early in their relationship. A testament to Nanette's patience and understanding of her student.
I can't say much about the other teacher here, but we'll keep Nanette a little while longer :-)

Great teacher
very positive experiance

She is great....I love my lessons....I am so glad I found her...............Thanks.....Michele Brannon
