    About Nadav R.

Hailing from the outskirts of Tel Aviv, guitarist Nadav R. is one of today’s emerging voices on the New York Jazz scene. Described as “an unassuming artist with a penchant for indie rock... forging a style built on understatement, logic and clarity,” R. has established himself as a standout among a new crop of Israelis making waves in the jazz world, through his haunting guitar melodies and compositions that offer an intriguing combination of modern jazz, Jewish folk, and alternative rock. R’s debut album, So Far, was released in 2011 on Brooklyn Jazz Underground Records and praised by leading Jazz publications including JazzTimes and Jazz Wise Magazine who gave the record a rating of four stars. R.has shared the stage with some of today's leading artists such as Omer Avital, Greg Tardy, Jason Lindner, Daniel Freedman, Avishai Cohen (trumpet), Jonathan Blake, Daniel Zamir, Berry Sakharof, Shai Maestro, Jamey Haddad and many more. R. is a regular member of the New Jerusalem Orchestra. *** Lesson Details *** I customize the lessons based on the student's needs, experience and goals.
