For drum lessons : I have been a drummer for 20 years and can teach all styles and most levels. My lessons are very tailored to the individual. Anybody can give you a book and say go practice. I constantly evaluate what my students wants and needs are and mix it up to keep it fun and challenging. I will do a background check on this site in the future but I have worked it 2 fields for 15 years and 4 years that requires a clean background. For my self defense class: I have been lover of martial arts all my life and and have focused on what are the most effective, efficient and brutal ways to stop an attacker. Self defence cannot be learned in a one day or weekend class. It takes time to develop comfortability in the skills learned to be able to use them when needed. I focus on my students needs as well as abilities and make lessons individual to them. It is best if you can have a friend or partner to take lessons together so you can practice together through out the week.
