    About Michael Z.

Rock • Pop • Blues • Acoustic • Alternative • Metal • Reggae • Country • More! Hey, I'm Michael! I'm 24 and I've been teaching music to students of every age and skill level since 2007. I've also been performing with all types of amazing musicians right here in the Inland Empire since I was 10 years old. I've gained valuable experience touring up & down the west coast in a variety of productions. Along the way I've been lucky enough to work alongside some of the most talented musicians, producers, promoters, songwriters, performers and teachers you could ever hope to meet. As a master of a wide variety of instruments with unparalleled experience performing in every type of musical act imaginable, it's my goal to pass on my knowledge to the next generation of modern musicians. For your first lesson we will assess how much skill you already have on your instrument of choice. We'll discuss what types of bands & artists you already enjoy listening to and what type of musician you'd eventually like to become. Right from day one we are going to dive right in and start making music! From there we will put together a custom tailored lesson plan that's as unique as you are. We will focus on what you will enjoy learning most and mix in some super fun and challenging exercises taken right out pop-culture's most exciting and famous tunes. Students who learn the music they know and love are proven to learn faster, retain information longer and have more fun compared to students who attend "ordinary" music lessons which focus on book work and boring exercises through repetition. Custom lesson plans assure the best possible chance of success in the ever-changing modern music industry. Students are required to have enough equipment to be able to successfully practice on their own... how else can they get better? However, for those who are just starting out or are not sure what to buy yet, I do offer consultations for students individual needs as part of their first lesson. Rockstars of Tomorrow

My job at Rockstars of Tomorrow keeps me busy and challenged. I enjoy it a lot because I get to meet some great musicians and learn exciting new things. My days here mostly consists of the following: • Coach bands and artists in musical and visual performance elements in preparation for live performances. • Teach private and group lessons for a wide array of subjects including electric & acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums & percussion, ukulele, piano & keyboard, and vocals. • Tutor students with advance music theory concepts, songwriting fundamentals, music history, and modern recording / production methods. • Set-up, run, and tear down stage, sound, monitoring, and lighting equipment for performers and oversee behind the scenes technical needs for live concerts. • Repair and maintain the high-quality of musical instruments and audio equipment in the studio.
