About Michael Z.
My educational experience falls mainly within the college undergraduate realm. I served for one year as a graduate teaching assistant at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, and have been adjunct faculty at Neumann University in Aston, PA since August 2014. Additionally, I have many years experience teaching adults through work in church education and ministry formation and training, which involves fairly complex concepts, as well as performative work in singing, public reading, public speaking, and leadership.
Some of my favorite teaching experience comes working one on one with students who need help or guidance with assimilating concepts, writing papers. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of understanding what is particularly difficult for a student, and then helping him or her overcome or work around the difficulty. As a Choice Theorist and Reality Therapist, I am focused on helping people develop effective behaviors in meeting their needs. The experience of helping others succeed is a source of tremendous joy for me.
