About Me

Michael has a long and versatile career in music. As a songwriter/composer, he's written for ABC, CNN, Showtime, PBS, and for several films. As a musician, he's played live or recorded with Diddy, MA$E, Richard Gere, Shawn Colvin, and many others. Because of his broad knowledge of American Music, he was asked to co-create the shows, "120 years of Popular Song" and "New York City - A Century of Songs." He was a conductor for LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS during its original run, and has appeared or played in several other Broadway and off-Broadway shows.

How To Sign Up

Review the TakeLessons teachers in your area. Find the teacher you like the best and either book online or call/email a TakeLessons Student Counselor to book your lessons. You will then choose a day and time that works best for you, select your lesson package and pay via credit or debit card to book your lessons.

After you have booked your lessons, your instructor will contact you within 1-2 days. This gives the instructor a chance to introduce him or herself, and make sure everything is set for your first lesson.
