I am a graduate of Xavier University, where I obtained a degree in vocal performance. I have always had a knack for music theory and I consistently emphasize theory and ear training in lessons. I sing in a number of Cincinnati choral groups and I am aiming to pursue graduate studies in choral conducting. After two years of teaching beginner and intermediate level players, I have cultivated a straightforward teaching style for students of all ages. Whether it is a young child learning to read rhythms and count, a talented teenager learning how to understand and create music at a mature level, or an adult taking on a new instrument, I offer assertive and supportive guidance.
