I received my Bachelor of Music from the University of Nebraska in 2012, where I studied piano with Dr. Paul Barnes and Dr. Mark Clinton and chamber music with the Chiara String Quartet, all distinguished teachers and musicians. From 2011-2012, I studied privately in Walla Walla, Washington with renowned pedagogue Dr. Leonard Richter. He has passed down much of his knowledge in performing and teaching so that I feel very comfortable in teaching you or your young ones. I can help lay a great foundation which will help you on your way in the classical music world. Having this foundation can even translate into other genres later on. It is my goal to bring out every student'€™s personality through their playing. In my conviction that technique (not facility) and musicality are never separated, my goal is to shape great pianists, and more importantly, musicians. *** Lesson Details *** We will start out with methods depending on experience and gradually move onto classics such as Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, etc. *** Studio Equipment *** I come to your home. A full sized piano will be needed on your part. As far as books, I will provide the first and you will be expected to purchase the rest on your own.
