Students may start at age 5. Students will learn to read notation and play by ear. Emphasis on understanding music theory as it pertains to this instrument and eventually gaining the ability to listen and interpret music independently. Much emphasis on fun, as well!

I have a degree is Music Education, I've been teaching in schools and in the home for 9 years. I have experience with academic tutoring, as well! I love to help others reach their full potential as students and as musicians!
I have classroom experience teaching band, choir, guitar ensemble, music theory, and music technology. I have also directed and produced Middle School and High School theater performances.
