Violin with Megan G.

My name is Megan G., and I would love to be your new violin teacher. In 2012, I received my Master of Music Degree in violin performance as well as my Bachelor of Music Degree in violin performance, suma cum laude, in 2010, from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. While there, I performed a range of works with world renowned violinist Robert McDuffie in The Robert McDuffie Center for Strings ranging from classics such as Vivaldi’s Four Seasons to modern works like Philip Glass’s American Four Seasons under Maestro Robert Spano, conductor of Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. I was also selected to perform Mendelssohn’s Octet alongside the Saint Lawrence String Quartet, to play in the Rome Chamber Music Festival in Rome, Italy, and to be part of a string quartet to perform at the Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival. I began teaching in 2001, and have enjoyed teaching students ranging in age from 5-70. Whether four or ninety years old, begin learning violin today!
