I taught privately in California for six years with a variety of students, most in the middle or high school age range with intermediate experience.

Violin Instructor

I worked closely with conductors for five different ensembles ranging from beginners to very advanced players aged 5-17.

I enjoy teaching students who are beginners or have some experience with the instrument. My lessons are very casual, and while I have structure I am always open to what the student is interested in learning.

While earning my bachelor's degree in Music Performance in California, I taught consistently for many years. Though I have lived in Pittsburgh for a few years, I took a break from teaching to pursue my Master's degree at Carnegie Mellon. I currently work full-time, but am looking to teach again because I enjoy it.

I have no preference for my student's age and gender, as long as they are over the age of seven.
