    I use Thomas Blaylock exercises for establishing and building healthy singing technique. I also use Richard Miller's exercises. I have experience singing opera and musical theatre, as well as teaching music theory. When I teach theory, I use Richard Hoffman's Book of Fundamentals. I use John Thompson piano books when teaching piano.
    Lesson Details
    You can expect detail-oriented teaching in my studio because I want to help you to truly understand the subject matter of what you are learning. I am familiar with and use a variety of approaches to the singing voice, piano skills and music theory and fundamentals. There is so much material and curriculum, some good and some not so good. I believe it is important to understand the approaches of the curriculum and theories that are created by educated and well-informed pedagogs.

    I am a Seattle native who is excited to be working and learning down in the south! I have enjoyed all aspects of learning to be a professional singer, whether the skill is music theory, knowing my way around a keyboard, or developing strong stage presence. I hope to share my skills and experiences with you so that you can become the musician you want to be.
