I have a bachelor's degree in Music Performance with classical guitar from Texas State University. I've been a guitarist for 14 years, and very experienced in styles such as rock, blues, classical, latin, folk, etc. I've played in numerous competitions and have also had a lot of experience with masterclasses. *** Lesson Details *** Every lesson can be different depending on what style of guitar you're learning. While some teachers teach all students the same, I don't teach a student who wants to learn classical the same as a student who wants to learn pop or rock. I teach correct techniques, but I still try and give good and interesting music to teach the student. For beginners, getting started on an instrument is often boring and hard to keep up, so I try to keep the practice as interesting and fun as possible, while still keeping in the fundamentals. *** Travel Equipment *** I provide method books and picks if necessary.
