During my career I have worked at a Fortune 20 company, as well as a top 10 small business in the DoD contracting space. I have 10 years’ experience as an IT professional, followed by 12 years of cyber security experience – up to and including being the Director of Incident Response for an international cyber consulting firm responsible for 20 mil a year in revenue, and now 3 years of cyber security advisory experience working for a leading SIEM provider. My educational background includes an Associates, Bachelors, and Masters in IS and an MBA. I have also acquired 15+ certifications over the course of my career including CISSP and multiple GIAC certifications. These things combined have made me uniquely qualified to teach many aspects of information systems and cyber security from a place of hands-on knowledge and not just theoretical. My teaching method is also very informal and tailored to the learning style of whomever I'm teaching - which puts students at ease.
