I've been teaching guitar since 2006, and it's my dream job! I studied guitar at the Ivy League of music schools, Belmont University, and tested out my teaching methods in Music City, Nashville, TN. Matt B., creator of The Way Guitar, has taught music seminars at one of the top graduate universities for Christian missionaries in the USA, as well as master classes for music interns in India, and private guitar lessons in five states and online. At the age of 17, Matt’s jazz band was invited to play at the legendary Carnegie hall. He’s performed with notable musicians including Grammy award winning Conrad Herwig, and was a founding member of rock band The Delta Saints. Matt now lives in New York City where he teaches, performs on the guitar, and writes music with his wife Laura.
