As I mentioned earlier, I prefer to use the Faber and Faber method as the main lesson, theory book, but I also supplement with other materials i put together for learning oral and written theory as well as other sheet music.

I like to give my students a well-rounded lesson experience which includes mastering the basics of technique with scales, chords, arpeggios, ample time to learn and polish songs and a little bit of theory to build the foundation for what you are playing. I have experience using various types of teaching methods and my goal is to work with each individual student to find what makes them most motivated and challenged.

Every person goes at their own pace so the most important thing to me is that I make it fun and engaging so each student wants to stick with it and experience the joy of accomplishing this new skill.
I grew up in a musical family, with various instruments being learned. I believe music is a universal thread that not only connects every human being but brings so much life and joy into one's heart. I started taking piano lessons at age 9 and continued for 10 years challenging myself to work my way up from Level 1 to 10. I specialized in classical piano growing up, but have branched out to other styles as I've gotten older.
