    Lesson Details
    I will start with basics of the guitar itself, including strumming, picking, and fret board knowledge. I will also teach music writing, melody, harmony, and general music theory once we get to a moderate level of comfort with the guitar and with musical knowledge. In tandem with any lesson I can teach any song that you want to learn, so you can gain the knowledge of the fundamentals as well as a song you can enjoy and show off.     I've been teaching guitar for more than twenty years, ever since I taught myself in elementary school I have loved learning more and teaching the things I know. I played lead and rhythm guitar in a headlining band in Houston and Galvaston, TX for four years. I played with Shaboom and Hot August Nights. I also played the Gilroy Garlic Festival, as well as many other small venues across California.
