Maria has been teaching piano for 12 years, privately and in a group setting. She has worked with every age group, from 4 year old beginners to college pros, to retired music lovers. Every student is unique and deserves to have every lesson plan tailor made to fulfill their potential. Maria incorporates every aspect of music to help facilitate a nurturing and productive environment. Ms. D. uses her strong foundation in pedagogy to touch upon every aspect of music to bring up well-rounded and thoughtful pianists. Her lessons incorporate theory, technique, history, performance, ear-training, sight-reading, as well as the basics of improvisation.
