If you want to learn something you have on your phone, YouTube, mp3 player, etc just bring it to me and I'll teach you to play it. It can be anything, pop, hip-hop, reggae, trance, Frozen, etc. We will focus on ear training and rhythm so you can play anything you hear, and play it with a groove you can dance to.

Wonderful instructor

I had private jazz piano lesson from Marcus for a semester at NYU and it was an amazing experience.
Each lesson was enjoyable and I learned a lot from him.
I started from the basics of basic, and he was able to walk me through techniques.
Since I am new to piano, he made first made me play simple piece, and each lesson, he made is a little bit more complicated so that I never get boring. And it was actually really fun learning about playing same piece in different ways. (more fun way)
And by the end of the semester, I was able to play decent piece that I would not have imagined playing.
Working with Marcus was a definitely enjoyable time.
I highly recommend him as a piano instructor!

Great Piano Teacher

Marcus Choi is a great piano teacher. He is very patient and knows how to teach piano well. I really enjoyed my lessons with him and I would highly recommend him.
