Thanks for your positive and specific comments, Marc; they are helpful and inspiring. Because of your flexibility, I feel much freer to just play and have fun with the piano again.
For our next lesson, I will prepare the Chopin Nocturne, No. 1 in Bb minor, hoping you can show me some of the things you do to negotiate more difficult passages. Perhaps we can work also on interpretation.

Talented and Laid Back
I've studied w/Marc for about 3 months now, and the best part is he allows me to choose the music I enjoy and want to learn, then lets me play through without interuption, then diagnoses problems and provides instruction. Very laid back approach which helps me enjoy learning.

Starting Over

How To Sign Up
Review the TakeLessons teachers in your area. Find the teacher you like the best and either book online or call/email a TakeLessons Student Counselor to book your lessons. You will then choose a day and time that works best for you, select your lesson package and pay via credit or debit card to book your lessons.
After you have booked your lessons, your instructor will contact you within 1-2 days. This gives the instructor a chance to introduce him or herself, and make sure everything is set for your first lesson.
