I began playing violin at a young age, following the Cape Breton tradition. I later took up the banjo, and took it all the way to Berklee College of Music where in 2010 I was the first female to graduate with a principle on banjo. I have spent the last 4 years touring heavily with my bluegrass band, Chasing Blue, teaching independently and teaching for various after school music academy's in the Boston area.
