    About Machan T.

    Singer, songwriter, musician and teacher, Machan is an accomplished veteran of the music business for over 30yrs. She has toured and performed with Sting, Pink Floyd, Pat Benetar, George Benson, The Glenn Miller Orch, Aretha Franklin, Gov't Mule and other internationally notable artists, as well as recorded on numerous national TV & radio spots. As an artist, her 2004 solo CD debuted at #35 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Charts and her follow up work in 2007 released to critical acclaim. She also has written over 100 published compositions used for music library and world wide broadcast. A vocal teacher for 15yrs, Machan is a certified Somatic Voice™ instructor and Functional Singing coach, who has helped amateur and professional singers to understand the mechanics of their vocal instrument, so that they may develop full understanding and expression of their singing voice. She is credited as the vocal coach and Associate Producer for Vera Farmiga’s directorial debut movie Higher Ground which included singers, Amy Helm, Warren Haynes and Norbert Leo Butz. With her extensive life experience and background, Machan is able to help guide and inspire her students to realize their full potential as well rounded, contemporary performing artists.
