Lesson Details

Students will be provided with custom lessons tailored to their specific needs as musicians. Bring a blank notebook and a pencil to first lesson as well as any owned music. Be ready to answer questions about musical preference, experience and goals.

About

Lindsey T., a native of Chelsea, Alabama, has a perceptive voice that has been heard at such places as Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice. Between 2003 and 2007, Lindsey was a soloist and cantor in the Cathedral Choir at the Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham, AL. While in Birmingham, she was selected to be the soprano soloist for the world-premier recording of K. Lee Scott’s Requiem. She has also been soprano soloist for Mozart’s Vesperae Solennes ... de Confessore at UAB in 2004 and Mozart’s Requiem on several occasions both in Birmingham, AL and Jacksonville, FL. After moving to Jacksonville in January 2007, Lindsey has been an active soloist and chorister throughout the musical community; singing with the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus and many other local musicians and ensembles. In 2009 she toured Germany, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands with a free-lance, professional choir, and has traveled to England on two occasions to sing residencies at Ely Cathedral in 2010 and St. Albans Cathedral in 2004. Since graduating from UNF in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance she has begun to explore music therapy and sound healing. Lindsey currently teaches private lessons in voice, piano & theory, as well as performs with local jazz musicians and the experimental rock band Fainted Paces.
