Learn piano from an experienced pianist and teacher

My goal as a teacher is to share the love for music I have with my students. I use different methods for teaching as I find every student is different. I am skilled in but not limited to started beginner students. I always incorporate music theory and music history into lessons. There's room for parents to sit down and relax during lesson time as well. Students will be required to purchase their first books.

    About Lindsey R.

I began my musical journey at the age of 4, when I was enrolled in piano lessons. At the age of 10 I became interested in sharing my love for piano with others. So I apprenticed myself to Ruth Snowman, my piano teacher and assisted with group classes, recitals, and festivals. Once older I became involved in accompaniment as well as playing for many weddings. For the past 7 years I have been teaching to children, enjoying instilling in them a love for music, and encouraging them in their endeavors. I think that learning music should be a fun, exciting experience. I want my students to eagerly anticipate lesson day. I live in Minneapolis and I am looking forward to encouraging creativity in young minds through bringing music education into their lives. I offer music theory, and music history along with every lesson. I think it gives more fullness to a lesson, as well as music appreciation. -Lindsey
