I am a Certified Pilates instructor, a dancer, and a cellist. Whatever craft you are looking for lessons in, I will work with you to achieve your personal needs and goals. PILATES: I am a Certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body. I can teach Pilates on the mat, reformer, tower, or barrel, but when we are working out of a home, we will be working on a mat, I may incorporate weights, balls, rollers, or straps into our exercises as well. I use Pilates to help you move safely while helping you achieve your maximum core strength, range of motion, and flexibility through low-impact but effective exercises. Despite whatever physical condition you are in, the lifelong benefits of Pilates can be achieved by anyone. *Pilates lessons are taught from ages 15+* DANCE: I have 20+ years dance experience which includes teaching and choreography. Included in my repertoire are the styles of jazz, tap, ballet, modern, hip-hop, contemporary, musical theatre, chacha, salesa, rhumba, foxtrot, waltz, and swing. I will help you with warming up the body and take you through some stretching. Throughout our lessons, we will work on the fundamentals, rhythm, and musicality. We'll incorporate all of these into various technique exercises and choreography. CELLO: I have 15+ years experience playing the cello. I have played in various orchestras, small ensembles, wedding groups, and have done some solo work. I teach beginners lessons for those just starting out. We'll work on scales, rhythm, intonation, and build technique as we complete exercises and songs.
