I began teaching while working toward my undergraduate degree, and began offering private lessons in 2010. I have taught students ranging in age from four through adult and believe strongly in targeting each student's experience to his or her individual interests, abilities, and personality. I believe in making lessons fun and giving students a say in how their arts education progresses. I encourage and inspire and welcome input at every step of the way. I balance all of this with a solid grounding in the subject, be it music or theater, and take care to ensure that students understand each concept.
